Today is the First Sunday of the Advent, and I have got to say I feel great joy and anticipation as I celebrate it in prayer. This is a time for me to draw closer to Jesus through prayer, and reflect on His role in my life. To pray for help and to strive to be the person He meant me to be. It is a time for me to understand more deeply His anticipated return, so that I may be worthy. I watch for His return and remain focus on Jesus. (Mark 13: 33-37)
Let us all stay awake and think about how to prepare our hearts for Jesus.
I want to invite all of you to pray with me. You can sign up on the links below to get daily reminders and prayers.
Novena are “nine days’ of private or public devotion in the Catholic Church. We pray Novena to ask for “special graces.”
When we pray a Novena, we either pray the same prayer for all nine days or follow a list of prayers to be prayed for each day. Every novena is a bit different in the intention, formation of prayers and practice. More information is available online: Pray More Novenas – Novena Prayers & Catholic Devotion
