Reflections on faith, hope, and the quiet journey with Christ

As we step into February 2026 and approach the vibrant celebration of Chinese New Year—the Festival of Spring, a time of fresh beginnings, renewal, and hopeful prosperity—I’m choosing to start small in nurturing my own financial wellbeing and overall health.

True change begins not with grand gestures, but with humble surrender: placing God firmly in the driver’s seat of my decisions. By inviting Him to guide my choices, I open the door to prudence, peace, and provision.

My simple daily practice? Praying the Our Father slowly and intentionally, lingering especially on the words “give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11, RSVCE). In this petition, I entrust my needs—material and spiritual—to the Father who knows them before I ask, asking also for the graces of wisdom, clarity, and discipline outlined in the seven steps.

God hears every heartfelt prayer. He delights in our flourishing, body and soul, as His beloved children. May He bless you—and me—with His abiding peace, faithful provision, and the steady wisdom to walk faithfully in His ways, one prudent step at a time.

Wishing you a blessed Lunar New Year filled with hope, harmony, and heavenly favor.
