I wanted to take time today to give gratitude to those working in the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of our essential services, they go to work each day. I wanted to give thanks and praise to the doctors, nurses, police, firefighters and the many others working as the rest of us are in imposed quarantine.
I want to also give a shout out to my husband, my neighbour Carol and her husband. They are working as well!
When I voiced my concerns to Carol on the lacked both mask and gloves in her hospital, she bubbly declared, “Don’t worry, God is taking care of us”.
WOW!
Carols’ uplifting message reminds us to place our trust in God. It reminds us to let go of our (my) anxieties and trust that God is watching out for all believers.
I just love the way God puts people in our lives. He is truly a living God who loves us.
I know my husband has been called in to work double shifts without complaints. This means a high level of hygiene as his work clothes are washed daily along with a number of disinfecting protocols at home. The rest of us are self quarantined and keeping productive with online studies and work from home.

I know he doesn’t voice it, but I know his heart also trusts God.
I thank God for His immense grace and love:
God asks us to give him all our burdens and anxieties. He wants to hear them and take them from us! He wants to shoulder our fears. His grace through the crucifixion of Jesus expresses His immense love for us. He will strengthen us.
Thank you Jesus. I pray during this Holy Week our hearts and minds are opened to your grace and love. I pray you help us take the time to reflect on your hands in our lives, and that I continue to see and feel your presence in a world gone crazy with pandemic fever. Through your Grace, I have the strength to let go of my fears and anxieties. Let me give gratitude for the people you put in my life! Praise be to The Father, Son and Holy Spirit! Amen. 💕
