A Stronger Me In My Own Existence

I can’t believe it’s already Fall. My summer flowers are still blooming and I can see they are on their last few weeks of budding before they go dormant. Even though it’s brisk out, I love to sit outside with my morning coffee. All the colours of summers end are still vibrant, and I think of Saint Therese and her simple yet profound words:

“Holiness consists simply in doing God’s will, and being just what God wants us to be.”

–St. Therese of Lisieux – The Little Flower

I look towards my garden and I think how beautiful is God’s creation. I am a part of his wonderful creation, and God simply wants us to put him in our hearts. When we have him centred within us, doing his will comes naturally with inner peace and joy.

Thank you God for your amazing love.

God Bless 🙏💕

  1. She’s an amazing example for all of us to follow. And so humble, and yet a Doctor of the Church. Her writings still resound with me and it makes God accessible to all, intellectuals and more simple people alike. I still think about her saying that we can’t all be roses or lilies in the Garden of God, but even the most lowly daisy has so much value in the eyes of God. Strive to be holy everyday, and offer daily sacrifices always. Not just during Lent.

    1. Certainly! 🌸 Her simplicity and profound message continue to resonate in the hearts of millions today.

The Little Flower is a radiant message of simplicity. St. Therese of Lisieux left an indelible mark on the world through her humble yet powerful life. Despite facing challenges, she embraced her littleness, believing it revealed God’s greatness even more clearly.

The “Little Way.” is like each of us – a delicate (unique) wildflower in a vast garden. It’s ok to be simple, hidden and unnoticed. Jesus delighted in all tiny blooms, for it is through our weaknesses that we can allow God to shine through us.

St. Therese’s example helped me find beauty in my own littleness.
