“The better we know the enemy the more we can protect ourselves and our families.”
This book was recommended to me and I was hesitant to read it. My bias towards secular books is evident here, but I have got to say I couldn’t put it down for the in-depth insight into the spiritual war at play in our western world.
Why is it important to understand the what’s going on in the world? I don’t mean by keeping abreast of our world by reading the daily news, but in understanding what forces are at play that’s brought us to where we are today.
Have we ever examine the deeper implications of the everyday around us. What are the forces or dark spirits which has ushered in woke ideology? What forces gave birth to transgenderism? Why are these pushed in the mainstream. Johnathan Cahn addresses all this in his book: The Return of the Gods.
I strongly suggest reading this book. It explores the return of pagan gods when our western world left a void after we turned away from the God of Israel. When the western world turned its back on its Christian foundation from which the new world was built upon. Just as the Israelites turned away from God and started to worship pagan gods, the western world have also followed in the same pattern.
To reiterate, “The better we know the enemy the more we can protect ourselves and our families.”
I will also add, “the better we can prepare for what’s to come.”
