Why consecrated your home and land as a refuge?
I offered to my home and property to God for protection, and as a place of refuge for my family.
One evening a few years ago, I saw a group of black shadows crossing through my backyard. I was sitting on my backyard swing at the time. Again, one evening during that same week, I saw a lone black figure move across my monitor. The black shadow was captured moving behind me in my Zoom call. Was I scared? No!
What I did that same week was take the time to pray through each room inside my home, the front, and backyard. I offered my home into the hand and care of God.
At the time I only had a small bottle of water from Lourdes and a small bottle of Holy Water. I recall sparingly using one and then the other throughout the house.
I haven’t seen these visitors since I consecrated my home/land to God.
Ideally use exorcised water and exorcised salt, which are even more potent against the enemy than blessed water and blessed salt.
Prayer
How To Consecrate Your Home And Land
As A Refuge For Your Home Or Apartment:
Inside your home, take the exorcised holy water and say the following prayer from your heart:
“In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, God the Father, through Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, Who shed His Blood on the Cross to save us, I consecrate my home to you. It is yours. Use it as You will for the safety of Your people. I consecrate my home to You, through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to be under the wings of the Holy Spirit for the time of purification.”
Sprinkle the holy water in the four corners of the house, making a sign of the cross, as you say, “In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
For Land That You Own:
Do the same for your land, using the exorcised salt. Outside on your land, take the exorcised blessed salt and say the following prayer from your heart:
“In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, God the Father, through Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, Who shed His Blood on the Cross to save us, I consecrate my land to you.
It is Yours. Use it as You will for the safety of Your people.
I consecrate my land to you, through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to be under the wings of the Holy Spirit for the time of purification.”
Make the sign of the cross as you sprinkle the exorcised salt onto the land and say, “In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
When the salt mingles with the earth, it enters into the land and consecrates it. God knows the size of your property and its boundaries.
