Part II – A Parent’s Prayer

Prayer of a Parent

O Holy and Almighty One,

Lord most pure and radiant,

You who formed me with patient hands

and shaped my life with mercy and care,

Guide me now to be a faithful steward

of the children You have entrusted to me.

As You have molded my heart through grace,

teach me to raise them with the same gentle touch.

Grant me patience when the path is long,

wisdom when I do not know the way,

and kindness in every word I speak.

Let my hands guide without harshness,

my voice correct without wounding,

and my heart love without measure.

Teach me to lead them in truth,

to honor the dignity of every human life,

and to walk humbly in Your light.

And when my strength falters, O Lord,

remind me that these children are first Yours,

formed by Your hand and loved beyond measure.

May the seeds of faith planted in their childhood

grow strong in the soil of Your grace.

And when my voice grows quiet,

let Your voice remain within their hearts.

For You are the true Shepherd of every soul,

now and forever.
