“Go now and leave your life of sin”

11 “No one, sir,” she said.“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

John 8:11 | NIV

My holy Lord, Our Father who resides in heaven, I stand before you a sinner of the worst kind. My sins against you has been numerous, and I will spend the rest of my life kneeling before you seeking forgiveness. I ask the blood of our Lord Jesus washes me with his blood. Cleanse me of all impurity real and imagined.

I thank you for forgiving me for my wayward way. I’ve committed every sin and law you have given us, and I know of what it means to live a life of impurity- not one but many times real or imagined.

I pray you continue to open my heart to your presence – that I make changes towards renewal of spirit and mind.

Blessed be this day, that I can rejoice and praise a Father who loves me unconditionally. That like a prodigal daughter return, I can celebrate and praise a renewed life in Christ Jesus.

Lord Jesus you come not to condemn me, but to welcome me into your light so that I sin no more.

Praise be to God!
Amen

    1. Thanks you:) When I make time for God in the evening after the kids have gone to bed, I have on a number of occasions fallen asleep while reading or praying. My world is also full of white noise, so writing out my prayer free flow in a journal helps me to focus on just Him. Also looking back on my prayers, I see God’s hand at work in my life. Take care and have a blessed week:)
