Faith, trust and patiently waiting upon God’s will is amazing. I have prayed daily for peace and freedom. This week through God’s divine intervention, I now pray daily with a group of women from other parts of Canada via telegram. We started praying “Prayer to the Canadian Martyrs”. https://www.catholicdoors.com/prayers/novenas/p00047.htm It is mind boggling how God is ever present in our lives – we need only ask. God is waiting for our, “Yes.” God is waiting for our, “Here I am.”
I can only with the most humblest of heart say, “Thank you Jesus!”
As Catholics we can offer our support to those around us through prayer – for their safety and for their wellbeing. It is showing love to our neighbours – it is right and just to offer this in our prayers as part of our faith, and, daily sacrifice to Jesus.

God Is Love
1 John 4:7-12 New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.

What is freedom? Let’s look in the Old Testament – the story of Egypt and the enslavement of the Israelites by Pharaoh. They never knew what freedom was until Moses lead them out of Egypt- and they were so indoctrinated that they longed to return to Egypt where they were fed.
Let us pray for freedom, and know that wandering in the wilderness symbolically will give us strength. Endurance in turn develops hope and faith in God.
Romans 5:3-5New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
3 And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
May God’s Blessings light your way 💖
