A Stronger Me In My Own Existence

I have got to say that many of us may be depressed, anxious, and have a panic disorder without realizing it.

Sometimes it arises out of a challenging event or circumstances in our lives, or from the daily rut of living. I know that I was surprised when my doctor diagnosed me with anxiety and panic disorder – depression.

I was like, me???? No way.

I would get panic attacks and thought I was having a heart attack. I would get pain in my chest. This got progressively worse to the point I would need to stop what I was doing and sit down and calm down – breathe.

Working with a Saint Ignatius Spiritual Director and an Art Therapist is my journey towards my healing – of being a stronger me.

I have journeyed in a deeper walk in my spiritual growth, and become more of the person I was created to be in God’s image.

Through my own journey towards healing, I have learnt to mindfully listen and keep my mouth shut (and my opinions to myself). Learn to love as Jesus loves without border, prejudice or interjecting my own opinion or bias. To love through being mindful to those around me – my children, husband, extended family, neighbours (lending a helping hand), and my friends as well as strangers who cross my path. Learning to love like Jesus is also about looking inwards and striving to be a better person – the authentic self as I was created to be. 🙏💕

It is also a journey that requires me to take the first step towards becoming a better me in my own existence 💕

Aside: I have explored in previous post learning to simplify our lives by shedding all unnecessary fluff as well as letting go of negativity and toxicity in our personal space and lives. This includes limiting white noise.

Below I have listed two links for spiritual guidance in the Montreal area. For your own local area, please Google your local Jesuit Centre.
