A Stronger Me In My Own Existence

8 And you, O tower of the flock,
hill of daughter Zion,
to you it shall come,
the former dominion shall come,
the sovereignty of daughter Jerusalem.

Micah 4:8

As I reflect on the birth of baby Jesus and its meaning in my life, I cannot help but be amazed by the hand of God moving throughout the Old Testament into the new. God’s plan for our redemption and salvation was already foreshadowed.

The shepherds in the field watching over the herd of temple sheep. The unblemished ones wrapped in swaddling cloth waiting to be offered in sacrifice. In the silence of the night, angels pointing to a manger not far off. A newborn infant also wrapped in swaddling cloth – their Messiah. Finally, upon the death of Jesus, he was again wrapped in cloth – our Saviour.

Our Heavenly Creator, existing outside of time had already prepared for us hope and salvation in the birth of Jesus.

Mary did you know?

I pray for each of you to be filled with Christmas Eve Blessings. May the hand of God be with you this Holiday Season blessing each with good health and healing, love and inner joy, wisdom and a deeper walk with our saviour – Jesus Christ. 🙏💕🎄
