It’s here. It’s real. I’m holding it.

After months of quiet work — early mornings at the desk, prayers whispered between revisions, chapters set aside and picked up again — The Quiet Work of Faith is finally in my hands. And now, it can be in yours.

I started this blog years ago to record my spiritual journey for my children — the children my husband and I adopted later in life. I wanted them to know where my faith had walked, what it had seen, how it had held me. Somewhere along the way, those reflections became this book: a collection of poems and meditations about finding God in the ordinary.

In grief and gratitude. In waiting and in wonder.

If your faith has ever felt quiet, small, or unseen — if you’ve ever wondered whether God notices the unremarkable days — this was written for you. He does notice. He is there, in the middle of the ordinary, doing His quiet work.
