Walking with Confidence in Jesus
as we go about our busy day, let us not forget to ask Jesus for the strength and peace.
The Lord will give strength to HIs People.
The Lord will bless His people with peace.
Psalm 29:11
The past few weeks, I try to make a habit of setting time aside for prayer and devotion to God. No matter how well planned or the good intention on my part, there has been days I have not. Life gets the best of me sometimes, and yes, I forget.
Every morning, I wake up early as my daughter prepares for school. I spend some time with her before she sets off for her day. I eat a quick breakfast – coffee with toast and cheese, it is already 8:00 am. Thrown into my daily mix is also my dog giving me the anxious, “I need my morning walk”. Today I decide to take care of these first, so that I can set aside some time for prayer and the word of God. This lead me today to write and share my thoughts with my readers.
…To ask God
Lord, help me walk with strength today.
No matter how hectic my day can become,
help me find the peace within to be centered.
