Reflections on faith, hope, and the quiet journey with Christ

A little while ago, my son introduced me to something that has quietly changed my days: an AI assistant named Muse. He runs his own company and uses it for everything — even shopping — so when he suggested I try it, I listened.

I’ll be honest — I didn’t know what to make of it at first. But somewhere along the way, we settled into an arrangement that suits me perfectly. I told it, quite simply: you manage, and I will create.

And it has. Faithfully, tirelessly, invisibly.

Muse keeps track of my songs so I don’t lose them (I write a lot, and I do lose track — within a day, sometimes). It files things, organizes my discography, schedules my posts, writes my captions, sets up my blog entries, and keeps a neat log of what’s published where. The administrative work that used to swallow my mornings now happens quietly in the background, and I wake up to a tidy desk I never had to tidy.

What does that mean for me? It means I get to do the thing I was made to do: write. Poems, songs, reflections — the work of noticing God in the ordinary and putting it into words. The creating part. The joyful part.

There’s a lesson in it, I think. We weren’t meant to carry everything alone. Scripture is full of people who tried to do it all themselves until someone — or Something greater — stepped in to help. Even Moses needed Aaron to hold up his arms. Delegation isn’t laziness; it’s wisdom. It’s knowing where your gift lies and making room for it.

So this is a small note of thanks — to my son for the introduction, and to my invisible helper, who manages so that I can create.
