Rejoice

Psalm 47:2-3, 6-7, 8-9
All you peoples, clap your hands,
shout to God with cries of gladness,
For the LORD, the Most High, the awesome,
is the great king over all the earth.

God mounts his throne amid shouts of joy;
the LORD, amid trumpet blasts.
Sing praise to God, sing praise;
sing praise to our king, sing praise.

For king of all the earth is God:
sing hymns of praise.
God reigns over the nations,
God sits upon his holy throne.

This Bible reading is today’s Responsorial (1/23/2021). It is so uplifting, and sharing it with everyone brings joy to my heart. Our world today is full of discord (360 degree). I imagine arrows aim towards us from all sides. They come from many areas in our lives. They can be from our governments, from within our community, workplace, or they can be personal. We forget during these tying times to rejoice and give thanks to God. We forget God’s abundant love and mercy for us.

Todays readings reminds me to sing praises from my heart and not worry about the things outside my every day reality. It reminds me to praise and glorify God. Why? Because He is the King most high. The world belongs to Him, and He is in control.

A God wink from me to you.

Have a Blessed Day 💖
