Brrr, it’s -12 C outside, and it took a little effort to put on all my layers of woollies before venturing outside. It was worth it to behold the sunshine, the blue skies and all the snow. To marvel at God’s creation and relish – life!
I forget how nice it is to be out of the house and get a breath of brisk air. Walking through the park, I marvel at the snow forts created by the children in my neighbourhood. Behind me in the above photo is one of their feat of engineering.
Starting the morning with a prayer of thanksgiving, praise, and my personal intentions is how I prepare my morning rosary time. It helps me feel the grace of God’s hand throughout the rest of day.
