A Stronger Me In My Own Existence

As I prepare to enter the season of Lent next week, beginning with Ash Wednesday on March 5th, 2025, I’ve been reflecting on the areas of my life that could benefit from the guidance of the Holy Spirit. My daughter, in her teenage enthusiasm, suggested that I give up coffee for Lent. While I smiled at her suggestion, I’ve been contemplating a deeper journey.

For me, this Lent is an opportunity to draw closer to God and to address those areas in my life that have been neglected over the past few months, particularly my daily devotional practice. I had taken a break from my intense daily prayer and scripture reading, and it feels as though I have been wandering in a spiritual wilderness.

As I embark on this journey, I aim to reestablish my connection with God through daily prayer and scripture reading, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me and strengthen my faith.

As part of this spiritual journey, I have decided to rediscover each member of the Holy Family, starting with the Consecration to St. Joseph by Donald H. Calloway, MIC. I realize that when I complete the 33-day consecration, it won’t end with a Feast Day, but at least, it will guide me towards Easter.
I find this path very enriching and thought it would be nice to share it with you. Perhaps it might inspire you as well.

God Bless 🙏💕
