A Stronger Me In My Own Existence

O Elohei Haelohim, God above all gods,

Sovereign of eternity, Knower of all hearts,

You wove me in wonder, each thread of my being

Crafted in Your image, a marvel divine.

(1 Peter 5:10)

Let not my body, Your sacred creation,

Be stained by the shadows of sin’s fleeting lure.

Make me a vessel, pure and indwelt,

A dwelling place radiant with Your Holy Spirit.

Grant me, O God of gods, wisdom’s embrace,

To love and to cherish all souls in my path.

Clothe me in humility, gentle and true,

That I may reflect Your grace to my brothers and sisters in Christ.

(1 Peter 5:5)

Teach me to cast every burden, every fear,

Into Your hands, O God, where cares find their rest.

Keep me sober, vigilant, steadfast in watch,

For the adversary, the devil, prowls as a lion,

Seeking to devour with cunning and roar.

(1 Peter 5:6-8)

Yet I will resist him, firm in my faith,

Anchored in You, O God of all strength.

Through trials and battles, You shape and refine,

Restoring, establishing, strengthening my soul.

(1 Peter 5:9-10)

O God of all grace, who calls me to glory,

Your eternal promise outshines every woe.

In Your boundless mercy, I stand ever whole,

Forever to praise You, my Elohei Haelohim.

Amen.

A Reflection and Prayer

Completing my meditations on 1 Peter 4 and 5, I faced trials, my heart weighed by distractions. The adversary, Satan, prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to sway my focus and weaken my resolve (1 Peter 5:8). Yet I lift my voice in gratitude to You, O God, for Your steadfast love and unyielding protection. Your grace upholds me, shielding me from the tempter’s snares.

May Your mighty hand continue to guard me, my family, and all who visit my blog, drawing them into Your eternal embrace (1 Peter 5:6, 10). Strengthen us, O Lord, and establish us in Your truth, that we may stand firm in faith and glorify Your holy name.

God bless us all. Amen. 🙏
